Macy's Skating Park in Dilworth!

This is how it looked around noon today. Of course, we hit 51 degrees and now the entire surface is wet. But it was fun while it lasted. Now we will have the whole pond to skate once again!

October Golf With Macy

Macy got her first day on the golf course tonight. It was a beautiful evening, and 9 holes were waiting for us.

We chased a few balls, pulled one out of the river, and had a good time overall.

Final Day of Fall Catfishing

This looks to be the end of the season for us. We are overdue to get the boat winterized and put away.

So one more trip was necessary on the river. Being that the Outlaws were in town, it's a good time to possibly put them on some fish.

After bites all day long, it was nice to get one in the boat. Kevin's first Red River Catfish came in at 12lbs 3oz.

Nice work Kevin!

I didn't get mine in the boat, so I can just pose with Kevin's!

September means Fall Catfish!

It was so much fun spending the evening on the river with Shawn, Jeff and Zach last night. Lucky for us, the Red River finally has dropped below flood stage and the landings were clear.

Zach got his personal best at 15lbs! I landing this one at around 16.5lbs. Can't wait to do it again this weekend! Video to come!!

Fins Up!

So the Lakes Area ParrotHeads have their annual Boats and Bars party this past weekend. We had no issue making our donation to the charity and doing this on-water pub crawl.

A drink at each location, steel drums on the sandbar and a lot of friends.

There is one video here where you can see our black SeaDoo

2011 Black Hills Rally in Sturgis

These were taken by a pro photographer along The Iron Mountain Road and Needles highway in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Of course, the dork-boy that I am, I was playing with my camera when the photo was shot.

Official Speed Thread Photo

This image is an estimation of what the GPS is reading. It took a second to read 49.0 mph on the GPS. I will have to shoot for a better photo.

Birth of the OMG Submarine Move!

This is the end-all of Sub Moves on our SeaDoo. The video says it all, and the section of 1/8th speed Slo-mo is gold!!!

This took quite some time to drain, but all is good. Enjoy!

Red River Catfishing with our Guide Marley!

So Marley thought it was a good night to get on the river, July 12th. The river was 1.5' above flood stage and moving along. We could not help it so Jim and Natalie joined Michelle and I on a guided Catfishing trip.

We only boated one, and missed a few others. It was still a good reason for a cocktail on the water!

The Babies are Clean

I was long overdue to clean up the bikes. They sure do shine with a little elbow grease and a pressure washer!

4 Yahoos, The Photo Series!!!

It all starts with 4 Yahoos, each pushing 230lbs. Add in a 4-person tube putting the total weight off the tower at half a ton!!

Add in just a bit of cockiness and enough self-confidence to show off! This creates the fuel for the driver!

She then whips the 4 Yahoos into a bullwhip!

Which they cannot recover from. The tube folds up and the yahoos are dumped. At least two yahoos anyway!!

At this point, the driver, my wife, is fully satisfied that she has done her job well.

Minnesota Lake Gypsies 4th, The Video!!

So it's 20 minutes long. Enjoy!
Of course, this was a Gear Daddies Weekend!!

Minnesota Lake Gypsy's, Eagle Lake 2011

Our mission to find as many Redneck Yachtclubs in one season as we can.

We did a good job of it this weekend. Video to follow!

Oh My God! What fun is had on a LaZ-Boy Tube!

It has taken this long for the girls to get the nerve to get on the tube behind the boat. Of course it helps that the Knain's invested in a tube with a backrest! Boy us old folks need it all don't we?

Needless to say, with all the weight set back on the tube, it tends to get a little air!

More to come.....

Dock Fishing on Detroit Lake

Cody, Shawn and I got the boat into Big Detroit and got some dock fishing in on Little Detroit out of the wind.

We were met up later buy Jarred in the BFP, with Scott, Randy and Shawn. Good thing we had video so they knew we were not just drinking beer.

Who wants a cheesy depth guage, when you can have a Lowrance!

I had the optoin to install a nice depth guage that matches the other guages on the dash. It just so happens that Lowrance offers their entry-level LCD Sonars for the same price. I think it will work nice.

VeVe Final Installation

Or at least until I get the boat straight on the trailer. I didn't realize it was crooked until I started the install.

VeVe Guide Installation

Check out the current project at hand! These VeVe Post Guides will help Michelle get the boat on perfect every time at the landing!

All the hardware and PVC is in paint right now. This is just a mock-up in the driveway before taking it off for paint. I think they will work great!

New HydroTurf Installed in our SeaDoo!!

So the temps tonight allowed us to do the install of our HydroTurf. For those considering this modification to your boat, I fully endorse it!

Little tip, have someone to help you out that is good at pulling the backing off of the 3M adhesive! My wife was gold for this operation.

Best tip I can share with you is pull enough backing off so that you can tear a piece to put under your fingers for holding. Then have your partner pull the rest off. This worked great on the big pieces.

This install wasn't perfect, but it sure looks nice!

Minnesota Walleye Opener 2011

The temp was great, but the wind was not. We headed out to Big Pine to at least get the boat in the water! At least we know the motors are working. We didn't have any luck with the walleyes, but that's ok.

Macy Learned the New Scooter!

Macy has been waiting since Christmas to try this scooter out. She finally got some dry sidewalks and time to give it a shot!

It took some practice and laps around the park and she was ready for the rest of the neighborhood!

We Finally Get Jarred's Boat in the Water!

So we spent the day searching for storage in the lakes area for Jarred's Boat. We also got to put some sleds away, and pull my boat out!!

The afternoon was spent on Melissa chasing crappies. All we found in our boat were Largemouth. Still a breat day for beer drinking!

Jarred figured out the depth finder and how to stream Pandora to the stereo!

Jarred's New Boat

So it was 40 degrees and raining outside and Jarred wanted to install his new fish finder. So we thought we would get it into our garage. We got it in!!

It was a tight fit, but at least we were dry while working.

110 Miles of Good Times!

So a few of us headed back up to Forest Rider Country and put on some miles.

The conditions were amazing as usual.  North of Park Rapids, over to Emmaville, to the Stompin' Grounds for lunch.  Then Aikley for gas, the Buck Stop for beer and back to Andy's place.

What an amazing day with no hiccups.

This is where the new biff.org begins and the old one ended
